First is a paid rate plan. Second is a volunteer assistance plan. ISECON 2005 Student RatesTo encourage student participation, the ISECON 2005 organizing committee is pleased to announce Student Rates for participation. The basic rate is $35 per student. To qualify for this conference rate, the student must be "sponsored" by a faculty member that is paying the full conference fee. There is no limit to the number of students that a faculty member can sponsor. If the faculty member does not pay to attend, at least one of the sponsored students must pay the full conference fee. Included in this fee: the student is welcome to attend conference sessions, and can participate in the breakfast, break, and the Friday night Jazz reception events. The student will also receive a copy of the Proceedings. For an additional fee of $35, the student can receive membership in AITP for one year. For an additional fee of $35 per luncheon meal, the student can participate in the Friday luncheon and the Saturday luncheon. The deadline for Student Registration is Sep 20, which is also the deadline for hotel room reservations at the conference rate. Payment details will be provided in this space when they have been finalized. Until then, you can contact the ISECON Registrar, Jens Liegle (jliegle at gmail dot com) for assistance. ISECON 2005 Student Volunteer PlanTo involve students in the running of the conference, a limited number of student volunteers will be accepted. The Student Volunteers attend free, but participate in service such as registration table assistance, projecter and computer setup, and similar duties. Included in this fee: the student is probably assigned to attend specific conference sessions, including any at which they or a colleague is presenting a paper. Additionally they can participate in all meals and the Friday night Jazz reception. The student will also receive a copy of the Proceedings. For an additional fee of $35, the student can receive membership in AITP for one year. To apply for this position, the student must be a bona-fide student.
